Making a human skeleton model (mini) [Part 3] Sternum + costal cartilage

Continuing from the last time, it is a human skeleton model (mini).

We will make the sternum + costal cartilage.

Start with this part

Ribs ① are already attached, so I'm going to put them on from ribs ②.

The mini has a thickness of paper for the size you want to complete.

If you open the insertion slit in advance with an awl

You can easily insert it.

I just inserted ribs ② and ribs ③.

It is just inserted up to rib ⑤. Since there is already rib

Next are the ribs ⑦ and ⑧.

It will look like this. In the case of mini, if it is difficult to insert

I will stick it from the top.

Once you have done this, turn it over and attach the sternum, ribs ⑨, and clavicle in this order.

If it is difficult to assemble, cut the pink line and adjust it.

Once this is done, apply a small amount of wood glue and close the lid.

It is OK to tape from the top.

Turn it to the front and fold it so that the sternum is a lid.

Two ears to hold the collarbone

Apply wood glue and fold.

This completes the sternum + costal cartilage part.

I'm so tired.

Next time: Vertebrae, Ribs
